There are several crossroads in life; this is yet another one.
All the hardship would have been easier to accept if I knew where I was heading in life. Right now, I'm pretty certain that litigation is not for me, but I constantly wonder whether I am deciding so for the right reasons? Would corporate work be any easier? Or maybe I am no better there because I do not have any background knowledge on finance?
I am afraid that I am just taking the easy way out.
People who succeed academically sometimes are not always the most successful in life. My personal opinion? The people who fail academically are more likely to succeed in life because they have dealt so much more with rejection in school that they do not take failure to heart anymore, and are able to pick themselves up faster.
The reason I excelled in school was because I was afraid of failure. Which was why I studied hard so I never had to deal with it.
In reality, you cannot avoid failure, even if you give your 100%. You just have to accept it and move on.
And as easy as it sounds - to accept and move on, it is actually harder than excelling academically.
